Aberya na naman! MRT-3 suffers electrical glitch
Commuters of Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3) were inconvenienced anew on Sunday due to “electrical failure”.
In an advisory, the MRT-3 management said it had to unload at least 150 passengers at the southbound section of Buendia station at 5:51 a.m. when a train suffered from electrical glitch.
The service disruption was caused by “worn out electrical sub-components such as insulator, regulator, and main chopper.”
Affected commuters were loaded in the next train which arrived 13 minutes after the incident.
The management said the train will undergo preventive maintenance and replacement of electrical components.
