The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) 3 suffered from a technical problem on Friday forcing passengers to disembark.

An advisory of the Department of Transportation said the incident occurred at 3:26 p.m. at the Santolan-Annapolis Station southbound.

The problem was classified as “Category 3” which means the “train was removed without replacement and/or cancellation of loops and insertion was done.”

The MRT-3 management did not give details on how many passengers were affected but it apologized to commuters for the inconvenience caused by the problem.
