Walang pasok! Erap suspends classes, gov’t work in Manila on Jan. 9
Good news for the residents of Manila.
Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada on Thursday announced the suspension of government work and classes in all levels on Jan. 9 due to the annual Black Nazarene procession.
“Classes for all levels in all universities, colleges and schools in the city of Manila is suspended on January 9, 2018, Tuesday,” the politiko said on his official Facebook page.
“Work is suspended on January 9, 2018, Tuesday, in all departments, offices and bureaus in the city government of Manila, except those involved in the maintenance of peace and order, traffic enforcement, disaster and risk reduction management, health and sanitation,” he added.
However, suspension of work in the private sector is left to the discretion of their respective authorities.
