Ano ba talaga kuya? Roque said no final yet on return of drug war to PNP

Oops, not so fast, Philippine National Police.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said Sunday there is nothing concrete yet on the plan of President Rodrigo Duterte to return the drug war operations to the PNP.

Roque said based on his recent conversation with Duterte, he has yet to make a decision on the matter.

“Nung magkasama kami nung isang gabi lamang, sabi niya pinag-iisipan pa rin niya,” he said.

“Bukas, magkikita kami ni Presidente, magkasama kami sa Sultan Kudarat. Isa ‘yan sa pag-uusapan namin siguro sa eroplano at sa helicopter, kung ano talaga ang mangyayari sa war on drugs,” he added.

He said he will try to get a clear instruction from the President on what he can tell the public regarding the drug war campaign.

Duterte repeatedly hinted that he would soon return the anti-illegal drug operations to the PNP only after a month when he gave the task to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
