Sinabon! NCRPO chief scolds ASEAN cops for using cellphones
Several cops assigned in securing the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit got a tongue-lashing from National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Oscar Albayalde on Friday.
Albayalde got irked seeing three police officers busy using their cellphones while on duty near SM Mall of Asia in Pasay.
Reports said the cops might be suspended for their actions.
Albayalde reminded cops deployed for ASEAN that they are not allowed to use cellphones or go on Facebook while on duty.
Around 30,000 policemen were deployed to secure the annual summit of world leaders from Nov. 11 to 15.
