Former Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas has strongly denied allegations by a pro-Duterte blogger that he was the brains behind an online campaign to pin down then President Aquino for the Mamasapano debacle.
Roxas, in an open letter to Thinking Pinoy on Facebook, said there was no logic to initiate an anti-Aquino drive since he was hoping to get his endorsement in the last presidential elections.
RJ Nieto, who writes Thinking Pinoy blog, earlier alleged that Roxas hired a public relations lady to run the “Nasaan ang Pangulo” campaign at the height of the Mamasapano blunder.
May ebidensya ka?” he said. “Deretso akong tao, Hindi ako pailalim kumilos,” he said.
P.S. ikaw ang fake news!” he said.
