FYI: Korean embassy closed Oct 3, 9, 31
The Korean embassy in Manila will be closed on Oct. 3, 9 and 31 to mark Korean and Philippine holidays.
In an advisory, the Korean Embassy said it will be closed Oct. 3, a Tuesday, due to Gaecheonjeol or National Foundation Day.
On Oct. 9, a Monday, the embassy will be closed due to Hangeul Proclamation Day, marking the invention and proclamation of Hangeul – the Korean language’s alphabet.
Meanwhile, the embassy will be closed on Oct. 31, a Tuesday, a special nonworking day in the Philippines.
