MMDA lifts number coding due to ASEAN Summit
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Tuesday, April 25 announced that it will lift the unified vehicular volume reduction program (UVVRP), also known as number coding, to ease traffic during the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit.
The MMDA on its Facebook and Twitter accounts said number coding will be lifted on April 28, Friday in all cities and municipalities except Makati and Las Piñas.
“JUST IN: Number coding is lifted on Apr 28, 2017 (Friday) within Metro Manila EXCEPT Makati & Las Piñas due to 30th ASEAN Summit 2017. #mmda,” the MMDA said.
