UP Diliman road network getting much-needed improvement work from DPWH
The road network at the University of the Philippines’ Diliman campus is getting a much-needed road network upgrade from the Department of Public Works and Highways.
DPWH Secretary Mark Villar said this involves the construction of 12 roads within the premier state university’s Quezon City campus.
First to be completed is Ylanan Road, which gives students and motorists from C.P. Garcia and Katipunan Avenue access to Commonwealth Avenue “without having to go to Quezon City Circle.”
Aside from Ylanan, covered by the road improvement network program are (http://www.dpwh.gov.ph/dpwh/news/11230):
– R.P. de Guzman
– E. Jacinto
– E. de los Santos
– Pardo de Tavera
– Quirino Ma. Guerrero
Villar noted the 826-meter Jacinto Road, once completed, will mean better access to UP Diliman, Katipunan, CP Garcia and Commonwealth Ave.
