#ThankYouMayor: Aguilar not letting fire victims go hungry

The Las Piñas City Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has prepared additional food packs for 202 families from Satima Village, Talon Dos whose houses were gutted by fire last Monday (February 6).

Mayor Mel Aguilar said the city government has also been providing three meals a day to the fire victims since the disaster.

The lady politiko also mobilized neighboring barangay officials to lend tents and other logistics to homeless residents who are temporarily housed in the nearby chapel.

She also ordered the deployment of health workers at the temporary evacuation area.

The city government provided P700,000 worth of financial assistance to the fire victims.

Around 120 homes were burned down after a fire broke out before dawn on Monday at Satima Village Village in Talon Dos. No one was killed or injured in the incident.#
