‘Magbiro ka na sa lasing, wag lang sa bagong gising.’

But no, this is not a joke. Mocha Uson, notorious Duterte supporter, and media-hater, was given her own column on one of the country’s biggest broadsheets, The Philippine Star.

Quezon City Representative Sonny Belmonte’s grandchild woke up pissed and angry as she learned about how her dad, Miguel Belmonte, allowed such thing. She wrote on her Twitter account: “I just took a nap and woke up to Mocha Uson having a column in our newspaper?”

To agitate Mocha’s and President Duterte’s followers too, the Belmonte kin called the ‘writer’ garbage.

She pointed out that the mission of the paper founded by her grandmother is to spread the truth, and hiring someone who spread lies is a disgrace.

In turn, she was attacked by the netizens; expressing that she has no right to say such things since their family sold majority of the shares in the past. She responded: “The family sold its majority stake in the paper a few years ago. Doesn’t change the fact that I grew up in that building and still care.”
