‘Know the people you serve,’ Jeremy Marquez tells fellow politikos
He may have lost the race, but public service remains in his heart.
Outgoing Parañaque Councilor Jeremy Marquez may be out of politics soon, but his love for the people stays close to his heart. Here, he is seen learning the handiwork of local seamstresses in one of the factories inside the city, while also sharing a light moment of laughter with the employees.
“Service with excellence taking is the time to know the people you serve. Learning and experiencing what they do. These are the moments when I forget all my problems and enjoy the company of the people that truly believe in my vision,” he said on Instagram.
Marquez lost the vice-mayor race to Rico Golez in a somehow match, with Golez bagging 119,794 votes against his 94,171.
