Pa-traydor ang atake! Who stabbed Joy Belmonte in the back?
Someone has stabbed Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte in the back and she seems affected by it.
Belmonte dropped hints about the backstabbing she recently went through in two Facebook posts Monday.
In the first post, the vice mayor shared her encounter with City Secretary John Alferos.
When Alferos asked Belmonte how she was, the vice mayor cryptically replied: “Ok pa naman, John. Buhay pa. Di pa naman umaabot sa puso ang mga kutsilyo nila.”
Alferos then squeezed Belmonte’s hand and said she will weather trials that come her way.
In the second post, the vice mayor shared a photo bearing the sentence: “Sometimes people pretend you’re a bad person so they don’t feel guilty about the things they did to you.”
Belmonte captioned the photo as: “Nothing hurts more than treachery. But nothing makes you stronger either.”
While the vice mayor ddid not give clues about the identity of the person who backstabbed her, it’s likely that politics was the motive behind the attack.
Belmonte is running for mayor of Quezon City.
