Winnie Castelo flip-flops about politics
The last day of filing went crazy for this politiko.
Quezon City Congressman Winston Castelo went through a roller-coaster of emotions on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
On the last day of filing for certificates of candidacy, the politiko announced that he was dropping plans for 2019 as he maxes out his term in Congress.
He even posted a gloomy photo of him comforting his staff due to his decision. He had backed out of running as vice mayor with contender Rep. Vincent “Bingbong” Crisologo.
Come afternoon, the politiko sang a different tune.
“I am running for Councilor, a position I once occupied four times already, but the title does not matter much for what counts is the opportunity to serve,” Castelo said.
Looks like he can’t leave the scene for too long!
