Janella Estrada unfazed by challengers for San Juan mayoralty post: I’ve got Guia’s support!
San Juan City Vice Mayor Janella Estrada is not scared of facing off with other candidates for the mayoralty post in next year’s elections.
Ejercito recently told entertainment writers that she has secured the endorsement of incumbent Mayor Guia Gomez.
“The mayor has endorsed me to be the next after her,” she said.
Estrada, the daughter of former senator Jinggoy Estrada, believes Gomez’s endorsement will play a big factor in the upcoming polls.
“I am aware that some people are interested to sit on the Mayor’s chair when the present mayor ends her term. But, they might have a problem because I have been endorsed to be the official candidate for mayor at next year’s elections,” she said.
Former San Juan City Vice Mayor Francis Zamora is said to be eyeing another bid to become mayor after losing to Gomez in 2016.
