Nanginginig pa: Airport execs submit ‘tanim-bala’ report to Duterte
Airport authorities have complied with the 24 hour deadline set by President Duterte to submit a report about the latest incident of an alleged “tanim-bala” at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
In an interview Sunday, Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) general manager Ed Monreal said they have already submitted a report to the Office of the President.
A passenger Kristine Bumanglang-Moran was caught with a bullet inside her luggage last Friday at the airport but insisted that it was not hers and was planted.
Monreal, meanwhile, clarified that they were not arresting any person involved in tanim-bala incident.
He stressed that they would only confiscate any prohibited item, but they would still allow passengers involved to leave for their flight.
