Walang pasok ulit! Metro cities suspend classes anew due to inclement weather

Several major cities in Metro Manila and provinces suspended classes on Thursday, June 14, due to the continuing inclement weather caused by southwest monsoon or habagat.

As early as Wednesday, a number of local governments already announced the suspension of classes based on the forecast of the weather state bureau that National Capital Region will still experience heavy rain on Thursday.

In its 4 a.m. daily weather forecast, PAGASA said the habagat continues to prevail and bring moderate to occasionally heavy rain.

Among the areas affected are Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, Cavite, Batangas, Bataan and Zambales.

• Basista, Pangasinan

• Bataan

• Bugallon, Pangasinan

• Las Piñas City

• Malabon City

• Mandaluyong City

• Manila City

• Marikina City

• Minalin, Pampanga

• Muntinlupa City

• Navotas City

• Quezon City

• Olongapo City

• Parañaque City

• Pasay City

• Pateros City

• San Juan City

• San Simon, Pampanga

• Subic, Zambales

• Taguig City

• Taytay, Rizal

Pre-school to elementary (public and private)

• Mangaldan, Pangasinan

Pre-school to high school (public and private)

• Abra

• Bani, Pangasinan

• Binmaley, Pangasinan

• Calasiao, Pangasinan

• Dagupan City

• Ilocos Norte

• Lingayen, Pangasinan

• Urbiztondo, Pangasinan

It will be a long vacation for students since Friday, June 15, has also been declared as a regular holiday for Eid’l Fitr.
