Walang pasok! Palace declares work, classes suspension in Metro Manila starting 3pm
Malacañang suspended work in the executive department and classes in all levels in Metro Manila starting 3 p.m. Monday.
“Pursuant to the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Council and expected inclement weather, the Executive Secretary has issued Memorandum Circular 46 suspending work in the executive department and classes in all levels starting 3 pm (June 11),” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a statement.
“Agencies of the government involved in the delivery of basic and health service, disaster preparedness, and other vital services shall continue with their operations,” he added.
Suspension of work in private companies will be left to the discretion of their employers.
The Supreme Court earlier declared work suspension at all courts in the National Capital Region due to inclement weather.
