Napapadalas ah! Russian ships in Manila again for goodwill visit
Three Russian Navy vessels are in the country again for a goodwill visit.
The flotilla including Large Anti-Submarine Ships Admiral Tributs and Admiral Vinogradov; and Large Sea Tanker, Pechenga, arrived at Pier 15, South Harbor in Manila on Saturday, June 9.
The Navy ships will stay in Manila until June 14.
Three Rusian Navy vessels, Admiral Panteleyev, Admiral Vinogradov and large sea tanker Boris Butoma have also paid a goodwill visit in Manila last October.
In April last year, Russian cruiser Varyag, a 600-foot Slava-class guided missile cruiser, along with sea tanker Pechenga also arrived in Manila for a four-day goodwill visit.
No less than President Duterte visited the Russian warship Varyag where he told the Russian officials that they could dock in the Philippines “anytime.”
