Princess Abante discovers perils of traveling with a baby

0 242

There’s so many things to look out for apart from taking the perfect photos.

Councilor Princess Abante flew to Japan with her husband Samuel and baby Irah. As fun as their trip could get, the politiko realized too late that they did not have proper family photos during their Tokyo getaway.

“Reality quickly sunk in when we arrived in Japan 5 days ago that traveling with a toddler isn’t as easy as we thought. We were always trying to run after Irah, pacifying him from crying because we don’t want to run after him anymore or all three of us were just tired,” Abante said as she shared the experience on Instagram.

Soon after, she realized that their trio had the best time as they walked around Japan and enjoyed Tokyo Disneyland, photos or none.

“I know Irah won’t remember Tokyo Disney or the train rides but Sam and I will treasure his funny antics, his smiles and laughter that the camera didn’t catch,” the politiko said in consolation.

Back from our Tokyo trip and on our flight back, @samuelbarquia and I realized we hardly have any decent photos of our trip. Reality quickly sunk in when we arrived in Japan 5 days ago that traveling with a toddler isn’t as easy as we thought. We were always trying to run after Irah, pacifying him from crying because we don’t want to run after him anymore or all three of us were just tired. Hahaha But the purpose of this trip wasn’t to take instagramable photos. It was to make lasting memories. Particularly, we wanted to spend quality time with Irah before the new baby comes and he’s not the only child anymore. And this trip did just that. I know Irah won’t remember Tokyo Disney or the train rides but Sam and I will treasure his funny antics, his smiles and laughter that the camera didn’t catch. Thank you, Lord, for this opportunity! 🙂 #SamCessAndIrahJPN
