Gary Alejano explains why he put his kids under homeschool
It’s not easy to make up for lost time.
Magdalo Party-list Rep. Gary Alejano greeted his twin daughters for their 14th birthday, and reminisced that he has so far been able to spend seven years with the duo.
Alejano explained that the kids were born when he was in jail for seven years for staging the 2003 Oakwood mutiny versus former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. While he did not regret the attempt to overthrow the government at that time, the politiko laments missing the time when he could have seen his daughters grow up.
Now, the pair are under a home schooling program so that Alejano can always have them within reach.
“We decided to homeschool them as a form of a reunion to make up for the lost time. Its our 8th year now in homeschool and we are grateful of God’s grace for keeping us all through the years,” Alejano said.
“No matter what, its our responsibility as parents to make sure that we raise up our children to become responsible and productive citizens of this country.”
What a family man! .
