Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II assured witnesses in the death of hazing victim Horatio “Atio” Castillo III that they will get included in the Witness Protection Program (WPP).

“If they want to tell the truth or clear their names they can come to my office and we will place them under the WPP,” he assured in a statement.

“They can trust us, they have nothing to fear from us,” Aguirre said.

With this, the Secretary warned against the advice of others asking them to hide and keep shut the truth about the death of the 22-year-old University of Sto. Tomas (UST) law student.

“They should fear more the ones hiding them or the ones advising them not to come out. They can be dangerous people with hidden agenda,” he pointed out.

The Secretary said witnesses can reach him through the hotline he formed with the mobile number 0995 442 9241.
