Waterproof: Toby Tiangco, Metro Manila politikos brave typhoon for House session
There’s no stopping these politikos from reporting for duty.
Navotas Rep. Tobias Tiangco was among the early birds at the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Sept. 12. He braved the morning rush which was worsened by twin storms Lannie and Maring, which paralyzed parts of Metro Manila due to severe flooding.
He isn’t alone, as his fellow congressmen from nearby cities also made the same gesture.
Seated beside him at the plenary were Manila Rep. Yul Servo Nieto, Parañaque’s Eric Olivarez, Caloocan’s Dale Malapitan, and Quezon City’s Alfred Vargas.
