Walang pasok! Classes suspended in Manila due to heavy rains

Classes in the elementary and high school levels in the City of Manila, public and private, have been suspended this afternoon (Wednesday) upon the recommendation of the Division of City Schools-Manila.

Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada ordered the suspension of classes for elementary and senior high school as per recommendation of Dr. Wilfredo Cabral, Manila Schools Superintendent.

The order was made effective 11 am today, July 26, 2017.

In its advisory, the office of City Mayor Joseph Estrada said DCS-Manila leaves it to the discretion of officials of colleges and universities in the city on whether to suspend classes for the rest of the day.

“Please take all necessary precautions and monitor developments from reliable news sources,” it said.
