Valenzuela offers free ride during Monday’s transport strike

The City Government of Valenzuela will provide free rides for commuters who will be affected by the transport strike on Monday, July 24.

Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian said they are deploying seven trucks in anticipation of the public transport strike.

“The City Government of Valenzuela is deploying Libreng Sakay trucks tomorrow, July 24, 2017, in anticipation of a transport strike,” Gatchalian said.

Here are the routes of our #LibrengSakay trucks:
– Along MacArthur Highway, Malanday to Monumento vice versa
– Maysan – Paso de Blas
– Karuhatan – Ugong
– MH del Pilar street, Malanday – Polo
– Sangandaan – Polo
– Polo – Monumento

Gatchalian said free trips will start at 6 a.m. Monday. “We want to make sure passengers who will be affected will not be stranded,” the mayor said.
