Makati closes three businesses without permits

The Makati City government shut down three business establishments in the city for operating without valid permits.

The Makati Business Permit Office (BPO) has served closure orders on three business establishments for violating provisions of the Revised Makati Revenue Code and Republic Act No. 9208, bringing up to 230 the number of establishments ordered closed by administration of Mayor Abby Binay since July last year.

The BPO named the two establishments found operating without a Mayor’s Permit as Dalat Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine in Brgy. San Antonio and Pimentel Welding Shop in Brgy Rizal.

These were closed down for violating Section 4A.01 of the Revised Makati Revenue Code, or City Ordinance No. 2004-A-025.

On the other hand, the Loreamar Spa Services in Brgy. San Antonio has violated Section 4 of R.A. No. 9208, also known as “Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003”. #
