Galit na: Toby Tiangco threatens to defund LTO for car plate backlog

If an agency is unable to do its job, it doesn’t deserve to get additional funding from the people.
Navotas Rep. Tobias “Toby” Tiangco spent some time staring at the back of this SUV while stuck in traffic along EDSA. It was there when he realized that the Land Transportation Office (LTO) still had lots of car plates to distribute even after repeated nagging from Congress during a series of hearings.
This got the politiko thinking: does this underperforming agency still deserve a budget for 2018?

Kung pag dating ng budget hearing sa Aug. ay hindi pa rin naayos ang license plate, dapat pa bang bigyan ng budget ang LTO #taxpayer's money

by aug 2017 more than 1 year na office ang mga nasa LTO ngayon, thats more than enough time to solve this problem

Tiangco said he will move to defund LTO should it be unable to address its license plate backlog by August, or the budget season at the House of Representatives.
Lagot na!
