QC gov’t to help traffic enforcer in Centris road rage
The Quezon City government has vowed to give assistance to traffic enforcer Larry Chinel who was assaulted by a bus conductor along Edsa last week while responding to a traffic accident.
QC Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) chief Elmo San Diego, said the city government will provide legal assistance as Chinel is set to file charges of assault upon a person in authority and slander against Sameh Ruiz Twahadi, the conductor of the Baclaran Metrolink Bus that was figured in the accident.
Chinel has been a DPOS traffic constable for 13 years.
Thawadi, together with bus driver Jefferson dela Cruz, showed up at the DPOS office to apologize for their unruly behavior.#
