He’s back: Binay to sit as Law dean in University of Makati
In Makati, you can get a former Vice President as your professor.
Ex-VP Jejomar Binay returns to public service as he serves as dean for the University of Makati (UMak) College of Law. The 74-year-old is back on the public eye nearly a year since he lost the presidential race.
Now, he’s off to share his knowledge as a lawyer and accomplished politiko in his bailiwick Makati City. School starts next semester, with Binay to pioneer the new Law program offered by the public university.
It can be recalled that UMak was among the local projects allegedly rigged by Binay back during his time as mayor, where he supposedly profited from by entering into a shadow deal with another school, the Systems Technology Institute (STI).
