Still bitter? Kid Pena’s year end essay
Former Makati City Acting Mayor Kid Pena had a great 2016, which he devoted in public service, despite not having a government post. Last May, he lost the mayoral race to Mayor Abby Binay.
He wrote on his Facebook account his realizations, as well as reflections on the year that was. The Politiko expressed that losing actually made serving the public easier for him, because, as he notes, he is not ‘owned’ by anyone, and is free to do whatever he wants.
Kid threw in cryptic messages, as if he’s throwing shade to the current city government, Makati’s ‘trapo’s’ and its rotten system. He’s also grateful that he’s not part of any political party, making him ‘friends’ with everyone.
He also used the chance to greet everybody a merry Christmas, and a prosperous new year.
